The environmental technology atlas: GreenTech made in Germany 2.0

Following continued demand from companies and research institutes in the environmental technology sector, the BMU, in collaboration with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, has prepared a new edition of the environmental technology atlas:

“GreenTech made in Germany 2.0â€.

The first edition in 2007 already succeeded in providing a comprehensive overview of environmental technologies in Germany.

Environmental technologies and innovations continue to develop as an engine for growth and employment.

The environmental technology atlas is based on a survey of around 1300 environmental technology firms and 200 research institutes in Germany.

The focus is on six key markets of the future:

  • Environmentally friendly energy production
  • Energy efficiency
  • Resource and materials efficiency
  • Closed loop recycling management
  • Sustainable water management
  • Sustainable mobility

On these pages you will also find profiles of the GreenTech companies as well as sample projects.

You can make your environmental technologies visible on this portal by registering your firm.
