The goal of the project was the optimization of the denitrification by feeding waste water into deeper soil layers at Subterra plants. The measurements showed an average degradation of the waste water components by 96%. Further, the testing of various substrates for an improvement of the habitat of the micro organisms was successfully accomplished.
