Combined heat and power station Harsefeld

In 1997 the municipality Harsefeld planned the development of an area with approx. 160 buildings in the form of one and multi-family houses. For the heat supply of these buildings, apart from in-house single heating systems, the establishment of a local heat supply net was considered which can be fed from a boiler and a combined heat and power station (CHP station). Apart from the reduction of costs and the eco-friendly power supply the advantage is a more comfortable heat supply.
