Development of a heat storage oven heated with solid fuels

The objective of the support project is to develop a storage heater using solid fuel, which is characterized by the possibility of controlled heat storage and heat emission. The firebox heated with wood is enclosed with a solid material mineral storage. Storage is charged directly via the two walls of the firebox or via a heat exchanger installed in the waste gas flow of the firebox. The process of storing and emitting heat is controlled depending on the temperature. This development is to make it possible to store the short-term high heat released when burning small pieces of wood for later use in living quarters (detail information in German).
