Development of emergency call boxes using photovoltaics
The field test was conducted with several configurations concerning solar generator, battery, and the installation or integration technology. A total of 10 different photovoltaic energy supply systems were integrated into functional emergency call boxes. All systems were designed using the simulation program to ensure that these call boxes were operational during the entire test period. Supply security was achieved with only 4 systems at all times. All other systems were unable to provide a continuous energy supply for a variety of different reasons (detail information in German).
