Energy technology for the future
This German-language article describes the innovation potential of organic photovoltaics. This method makes use of synthetic substances such as dye and carbon molecules as well as nanoparticles, and is thus different to silicon-based photovoltaics. Together with various industrial organisations, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has made available a total of 360 million Euro for research and development in this field.
