Building Remediation

Monitoring and optimising operations after renovation of the KfW headquarters

The main building of the bank group KfW consists of four interconnected office towers with 10-15 floors. In the course of the refurbishment, a ventilation system was installed that controls operation according to presence and outside temperature and can be used for post-cooling in summer. Attention was also paid to the building's water consumption: vacuum toilets were installed, rainwater from the roof is collected for watering the garden and washing water from the washbasins is used as greywater.
