Energy-Management for Buildings

Guide to Contracting for Municipal Sports Centres

Both the athletes themselves, and also gymnasiums, swimming baths and sports centres, waste enormous amounts of energy. Up to 1.2 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions could be prevented every year, and operating costs reduced accordingly. The Öko-Institut e.V., an ecological institute and the Berlin Energy Agency have drawn up a practice-oriented guide for the Federal Environmental Agency. Using examples, this describes how projects can be developed and implemented, and explains the advantages for the environment, economy and government.
