Insulation & Facades

Development of a transparent front damming system

In case of the transparent heat insulation (TWD) of fronts the sunbeams hit the translucent elements which at the same time minimize the outward heat transfer. A high efficiency is reached if there are walls with high gross density behind the TWD elements. For shading in the warm season outer blinds were developed which, in the closed condition, improve the insulation value (U-value) of the wall as well as are weather-resistant, wind stable, and noiseless.
