Flexible packaging without risk

Multi-layered packaging films for foodstuffs are generally secured using two-part adhesives, which will require curing at high temperatures for some days in order to prevent the penetration of isocyanate-bearing solvent vapours into the packaged goods. The use of adhesive thermoplastic polymer materials renders this expensive process stage superfluous, and obviates the release of substances which are injurious to health.
