Arbeitsgemeinschaft Graphische Papiere (AGRAPA)

Since 1994, the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Graphische Papiere (AGRAPA) is an association of societies and organizations of the paper and printing industry. AGRAPA aims to achieve a high recovery rate of waste paper by voluntary agreement of the economy. On that point, AGRAPA records and publishes the recycling rate of waste paper in Germany annually.

International Research Group Deinking Technology e.V. (INGEDE)

The objective of the INGEDE is to unite all parties involved in order to secure and improve the recycling ability of paper products. The group promotes the research in the field of de-inking in the interest of all members and to this end works together with renowned research institutes. It also co-operates with other participants important to recycling, such as printing ink and printing machine manufacturers, paper processing enterprises and suppliers of auxiliary means.

Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS)

As a research and service institute PTS assists companies in all sectors with the development and use of modern fibre-based solutions since 1951. PTS is operating  a modern pilot plant facilities for innovative paper and wet-laid nonwoven developments and also offers modern equipped analytical laboratories. PTS-development is applied in composites, packaging and printing technology.

RAL Environment (RAL gGmbH)

The Deutsche Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e.V. (RAL) develops for consumers quality standards and labels for products and services. The RAL Environment Division is specialized in labeling of ecological products so that consumers can also in an environmentally conscious manner. Hence, RAL gGmbH awards the labels "Blauer Engel" and  "EU Ecolabel".

Technische Universität Darmstadt - Chair of Paper Technology and Mechanical Process Engineering

The Technische Universität (TU) Darmstadt is one of Germany’s leading technical universities. The chair of Paper Technology and Mechanical Process Engineering belongs to the department mechanical engineering at the TU Darmstadt. It has been qualifying paper engineers since 1905. The aspects of the research activities are "Recycling", "Protection of the environment", "Paper physics an metrology" and "Innovative, fiber-based products".

ZELLCHEMING e.V. - Expert Committee waste paper recycling (RECO)

ZELLCHEMING is an independent, interdisciplinary, technical-scientific association in the field of bioeconomy with a focus on pulp, paper and fiber-based materials. The members include both students and doctoral students, as well as companies and employees of the pulp and paper industry. The expert committee waste paper recycling (RECO) works as an international platform for the exchange of ideas. It discusses all aspects of waste paper as recycling product, from its collection to the processing to the production of new paper products.

Gesellschaft für Papierrecycling mbH (GesPaRec)

The Gesellschaft für Papierrecycling mbH (GesPaRec) was founded to set up a private wastepaper collection and recycling system. By now, the corporation is working to improve the conditions for paper recycling and the use of waste paper in the paper industry. Therefore GesPaRec is involved in the associations AGRAPA, ERPIS and QMAP.
