Extended wastewater treatment plant with nanofiltration and subsequent retentate treatment

A paper factory has introduced an advanced cleaning by means of nano-filtration as extension of the mechanical-biological sewage purification operated so far for a waste water partial current. Thereby the waste water load of the discharged production waste water is to be further reduced and the fresh water demand needed for production is to be decreased. Furthermore, by the improved waste water purification the possibility is created to increasingly recirculate cleaned and filtered waste water into the production cycle.
