Membrane electrolytic regeneration of chromatizing solutions

The object of this study was to obtain a process that enables the ”in-line” regeneration of chromatizing solutions. The electrolyte is here to be regenerated by removing the cations and by reoxidizing Cr III to Cr VI. Ideally, this leads to the previously regularly renewed electrolyte possessing an infinite service life (detail information in German).
