Chips under steam pressure

Continuous thermohydrolytic pulping in a closed system allows the environmentally friendly recycling of chipboard and fibreboard. The processed chip material is of equivalent quality to fresh chips, and can be used to produce new timber-derived products. There are savings in the use of bonding agents, while energy consumption is significantly reduced in comparison with existing non-continuous systems. Further information is contained in the project-description.
