Innovative wood-drying process in sawmills

Using the incubation/decompression (I/D) process, hardwood can be dried within 72 hours, as against the 6 – 12 months required for open-air drying. By the application of this process in the timber industry, increased productivity is associated with a simultaneous improvement in quality.
