Utilization of pyrolysis liquids from lignocelluloses: industrial realization (Part 2)

There have been many attempts to separate the pyrolysis oil condensate resulting from charcoal manufacture into its individual components, in order to make use of these as chemicals. The use of these by-products as materials, which until now have been only employed for thermal utilisation, considerably enhances their value.
