Drinking Water

Integrative management of drinking water dams - Model for describing the effects of different untreated water qualities

One of the challenges in managing drinking water dams is to take into account all the competing demands for use. Instead of studying the criterion of available water volume, which is normally analysed, the project partners are focusing on changes in untreated water quality and relating these to the treatment required. This then enables optimised recommendations for drinking water dams to be formulated.
