Copper corrosion – minimisation of copper release in drinking water installations


The participants of the research project examine the effects of copper corrosion in stagnant water in drinking water pipes. The research focuses on surface and puncture corrosion, formation of coatings and progression over time of copper concentrations in stagnant water as well as the effect of water-borne substances on the aforementioned processes.
