Development and application of ceramic nanofiltration membranes for production-integrated environmental protection, based upon the example of dyestuff-contaminated waste waters from the textile industry

Using sol-gel technology, ceramic nanofiltration membranes of amorphous titanium dioxide composition have been produced with a cut-off of 450 g/mol. In addition to the decolorisation of waste waters from textile processing, further applications are conceivable, for example in the electroplating and paper processing industries.
